Nikolay Tomov is Chairman of the Management Committee at BULSIM since 2010. In 2016 Nikolay was elected for Board Director in the European Training and Simulation Association (ETSA). Mr. Tomov is also a Member of the Management Board at the Cluster Aerospace Technologies, Research and Applications (CASTRA) since 2012 and heads CASTRA Academy for Space Education and Training. Nikolay is a Managing Director in Synergy Simulation&Training – Bulgarian company, provider of advanced simulation and training solutions and services. In 2015 Nikolay started Integris Lab with focus on IT consultancy and cybersecurity. In 2017 he founded a company for maritime simulation and training named Innovative Maritime Solutions. Before starting his own business Nikolay has been holding various managing positions in international and local companies. Nikolay is Operations Chair in NASA Simulation Exploration Experience project. Mr. Tomov received his M.Sc. Degree in Physics and Astronomy from the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University. Then he began his postgraduate study in the Space Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. During that period Nikolay was involved as a young scientist in various activities of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics and the Institute for Parallel Processing at BAS. Mr. Tomov is an author and co-author of publications in the field of computer assisted exercises, simulation, training, small satellites and project management. Prof. Dr. Stoyan Poryazov is Head of the Department of INFORMATIONAL MODELING at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Science. His skill and expertise comprises QoS, Telecommunications, Models, Traffic, Computer Networking, Network Communication, Information and Communication Technology, Network Simulation, Network Performance Analysis, Network Performance Evaluation, Wireless Computing, Network Management, Simulation, Traffic Engineering, Cloud Computing, LAN, Network Engineering, Network Configuration, Network Administration, Network Analysis, Internet Architecture, Switching, Resource Allocation, Mobile Cloud Computing, Multimedia Communication, Network MeasurementAssoc. Prof. Svetlana Vassileva-Boyadzhieva, Ph.D. graduated Engineer Process Systems “Computer Aided Design” in the Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI”. She has a Ph.D. degree in Informatics. She worked as a programmer and an Assistant Professor of Informatics at Agricultural University – Plovdiv and University of Shumen, College Dobrich. Currently Svetlana is an Associate Professor at Varna University of Management and Teacher of Informatics at the Mathematical High School, Dobrich.Areas of scientific interests: Control systems for distributed databases; Simulation modeling of processes and systems; Application of information technologies in education.
