Orlin Nikolov, Ph.D<\/strong> was a Member of the Management Board since 2010 until his election as a Controller of BULSIM in 2023. He graduated Military High School in 1991 and has a master degree from Military Academy (Sofia) and is an author of many articles and features in the Air Defense and Modeling and Simulations domain. Since 2017 Orlin has Ph.D on National and International Security. Orlin is member of the following NATO Modeling and Simulation Groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NMSG-068 in RTO: \u201cNATO Education and Training Network \u2013 NETN\u201d<\/li>\n<li>NMSG 106: \u201cEnhanced CAX architecture, design and methodology\u201d<\/li>\n<li>NMSG 134: \u201cDistributed Simulation Architecture &amp; Design, Compliance Testing and Certification\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Chair of NMSG 147 \u201cM&amp;S Support for Crisis and Disaster Management Processes and Climate Change Implications&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He participates in various projects as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishment and development of National Center for Modeling and Simulation \u201cCharalitza\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Establishment and development of Integrated System for M&amp;S in the Bulgarian MoD<\/li>\n<li>Project Manager in MoD for acquiring systems and tools for Education and Training for BAF (JCATS, VBS2, DITS, JEMM, JPECT, JEST, others)<\/li>\n<li>Project Manager of Establishment and development of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmdrcoe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Crisis Management and Disaster Response Center of Excellence<\/a> project<\/li>\n<li>Project Manager of Establishment of South Eastern Europe Education and Training Network project<\/li>\n<li>Project Manager of Investigate and assess M&amp;S Decision Making Support and Data Analysis platform for Crisis Management, Disaster Response (CMDR) and Climate Change project <div class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Col.
